Coed “C” National Championship

August 26 & 27, 2023

 

Manager and Player Check-In

 

Manager and player check-in will take place at the Osage Beach City Park (950 Hatchery Road) during the following times:

  • Friday, August 25 – 6:00 – 8:00 PM
  • Saturday, August 26 – 7:00-10:00 AM 

All players participating in the tournament must provide a current valid picture ID prior to participation.

 

Bat Check

 

All bats are required to be checked prior to being used in the tournament. A bat check will be set up at the following time and location:

  • Friday, August 25 – 6:00-8:00 PM (at Osage Beach City Park)

The bat check will be available prior to each team’s first game. Bats will be checked against the USA Softball approved bat list, as well as with the USA Softball bat compression fixture.

 

Official Game Ball

 

Softballs will be provided for this tournament. All softballs will be .520

COR and 300 compression (52/300). Males will hit the official 12-inch

softball. Females will hit the official 11-inch softball.

 

Uniforms

 

  • Player are required to wear matching shirts with a number on the back.
  • Ball caps and visors are optional for players. If worn, they may be mixed in color as long as they are the color of the team uniform. They must be worn properly.
  • Handkerchiefs do not qualify as headwear and cannot be worn around the head or neck.
  • Plastic visors are not allowed.
  • No metal cleats. No metal spikes. No hard plastic spikes.
  • Exposed jewelry, which is judged by the umpire to be dangerous, must be removed and may not be worn during the game.

 

Time Limits

 

There will be no game time limits during this tournament. Teams should be prepared to start a game once the proceeding game is completed. Game time is forfeit time.

 

Game Rules

 

Coed is 10 players five male and five females or six male and six females as in 10 players with two Extra Players (EPs). All playing rules and regulations will be governed by the 2023 USA Softball Official Rules of Softball.

 

Run Ahead Rule

 

For all tournament games (Rule 5, Section 9):

  • 20 runs after 3 innings
  • 15 runs after 4 innings
  • 10 runs after 5 innings

 

Team Benches

 

The team listed on the top of the bracket will be in the 1st base dugout. The team listed on the bottom of the bracket will be in the 3rd base dugout. In the event a team plays back-to-back on the same field, changing dugouts will not be required.
