Registration-Insurance Info
In order to participate in any USA Softball event in Kansas or in Kansas City, teams must be registered (sanctioned) and insured with either our USA Softball insurance or another type of acceptable Softball team insurance. Registration / Insurance runs from Sept 1st thru Aug 31st yearly.
We offer 2 types of team registration.
- Individual player / team (this option includes the USA Softball team insurance & the team sanction fee).
- Team registration (this type of registration is for teams who are not going to Nationals who have some type team insurance & want to play in our events).
Important note – In order to participate in any USA Softball National tournament, teams must have some form of "team" insurance. It can either be the USA Softball insurance or some other form of team insurance. Contact us to see if we can accept the insurance your team has!
BENEFITS of USA SOFTBALL INSURANCE:
- Individual is registered with the National Association for the entire season.
- Insurance coverage follows the individual throughout the year for all USA Softball activities – even if the players changes teams
- The insurance is valid for the team even when participating in other organization’s events provided all the players on the team are registered
- Cost covers both the team’s insurance AND their USA Softball team sanction fee!
- Cost is $19 per person and is the same for players & coaches.
To obtain the USA Softball Individual Player/Team insurance, log in, click on Team Roster, add your players & coaches and click the green Purchase Insurance button to complete the process.
How to purchase insurance:
- Create a profile on TournamentMVP.com
- Click on Team Roster
- Enter your player & coach information.
- Click the green link labeled Purchase Insurance and follow the prompts
To register (sanction) your team using team insurance other than USA Softball’s insurance visit TournamentMVP.com and pay the "affiliate" fee. It's the same thing as the yearly team registration fee. Cost is $30
