TOURNAMENT UPDATE FOR MANHATTAN FRIDAY 6/07/24 8:30 am After further discussion and looking at weather forecasts, we will be moving all games in Manhattan this weekend to the 4 turf fields at Twin Oaks. With an inch of rain forecast for Friday night and now an added half-inch of rain on Saturday night, the 2 dirt Anneberg fields will not be playable this weekend. Everyone will play this weekend. We will now go start to double elimination and not have a pool game. We will adjust the schedule somewhat. This will be worked on today, but mind you, we also have other jobs and other responsibilities to do today, so the schedule probably wont be complete till later this afternoon. We will work on it as fast as we possibly can. We will be starting at 8:00 am Saturday and Sunday for sure. Thank you for your understanding this weekend.


FACILITY LOCATIONS: (10U, 12U & 14U) Twin Oaks Softball Complex, 901 Twin Oaks Dr, Manhattan, KS 66503

FIELD SURFACES: TWIN OAKS: Fields 1-4 are turf infields, grass outfield.

GAME TIMES: 10U, 12U, 14U: 70 minute bracket games; flip for home team every game

INDIVIDUAL GATE FEE: Adults 18 and Older $6.00; Ages 5-17 $2.00 (Cash only)

T-SHIRTS FOR SALE: T-Shirts will be available for sale at the Twin Oaks 4 field quad concession stand area (Cash or Venmo)

CONCESSION STANDS: TWIN OAKS: Will have concessions all day

GAME BALLS: Hit your own balls. You will receive two (2) new game balls at your coaches check-in. Red-stitch ASA/USA Stamped 11" or 12" Optic Yellow .47 COR/375 Ball (No USSSA Blue-stitch balls will be used)

COACHES CHECK-IN & ADMISSION: 

TWIN OAKS FIELDS Fields 1-4: Coaches Check-In will be as you enter the 4 turf field quad. First (3) coaches to sign in get in at no charge and will receive a coaches pass for the weekend. Everyone there after will pay to get in. First coach to sign in will receive their 2 new game balls.

Welcome to the USA Softball Kansas Eastern State Championships

AWARDS: Championship Rings for 1st place in each division.

We reserve the right to update or change information, formats or divisions on this event at any time. Please be sure to check back for updates prior to coming to this tournament. Venue changes or additions, if needed, will be announced 7 days or more prior to the tournament.

September 1, 2023 starts the new insurance and registration period for 2024. Go to RegisterUSASoftball.com to obtain new insurance and register your team for 2024 thru USA Softball.

NEW FOR 2024 – Teams will receive 2 new 11” or 12" Dudley Thunder Heat USA Red Stitch ball at Coaches check-in. 

EFFECTIVE 9/1/23 – A player’s age as of August 31 determines the age in which the player is eligible to play the following year.

COACHES BACKGROUND CHECK & SAFESPORT: All teams for 2024 must have at least 2 coaches who have passed the USA background check (passing a USSSA background check does not qualify for or replace passing a USA background check) & have completed their SafeSport certification found on RegisterUSASoftball.com - NO EXCEPTIONS!

PLAYER ROSTERS: Coaches will need to have your player roster entered and completed on TournamentMVP.com no later than the Thursday evening before the start of the tournament. This is required for each tournament. NO EXCEPTIONS!

ENTRY FEE PAYMENT POLICY: Credit or debit cards only. You will be paying the tournament entry fee thru PayPal. You do not have to have a PayPal account to pay. Teams will be dropped from the tournament, if the entry fee is not paid for by the tournament entry date deadline.

TOURNAMENT RULES: Can be viewed or downloaded by clicking on the "Downloads" section.

TEAM TOURNAMENT DROP POLICY:  If a team drops before the registration deadline has passed, there will be a full refund. If a team  drops out after the tournament entry deadline as passed, for any reason, there will be no refund of entry fee monies, as schedules will be in play already. To qualify for a Team Drop refund or drop out of a tournament, go to your team home page and put in a drop request. No texts or phone calls. NO EXCEPTIONS.

RAINOUT REFUND POLICY:  If no games are played, a refund minus a $20.00 administration fee will be issued. 1 game played 50% refund; 2 or more games played, no refund.

RAINOUT INFORMATION: Will be posted on this tournament page at the top of the Pool schedule page, as well as on the Kansas Fastpitch Softball Facebook page.

This is a USA Fastpitch Softball sanctioned event. Proof of liability & accident insurance is REQUIRED PRIOR to playing in this event. We accept USA, PG or USSSA insurance. Teams with USA Softball liability & accident insurance are AUTOMATICALLY A REGISTERED USA team. Teams with non-USA liability & accident insurance will be required to pay a one-time-for-the-season fee of $30 to become a USA registered team for 2024. This is valid thru 8/31/2024. You will be required to provide a PDF copy of your non-USA Softball liability & accident insurance policy, along with your $30 fee, no later than by the tournament entry deadline date.
