Exciting News! Kenwood Cove (the waterpark in Salina) has offered discounted rates for all tournament participants. Updated price to a rate of $4 per person. This will apply to SATURDAY only, due to the last games starting at 3:30 on all fields! The park is open from 12:30-7:00 PM. You will need to let their staff know you are playing in the Moneyball tournament, as well as provide your team name. 

FACILITY LOCATION: BILL BURKE PARK: 1501 E Crawford St, Salina, KS 67401

FIELD SURFACES: SALINA BURKE PARK: All fields are turf infields, grass outfield.

GAME TIMES: 8U: 55 minute pool & bracket games; 10U, 12U, 16/18U: 70 minute pool & bracket games; flip for home team every game

COACHES PAY AT THE GATE: All coaches will pay at the complex at Bill Burke as they enter. Pay reimbursement for coaches explained below.

COACHES CHECK-IN & REIMBURSEMENT: SALINA BURKE PARK: At the Shelter, next to Field 6 and north of the concession stand. One (1) coach from each team will sign in for and receive an envelope with coaches passes for 2 days for 3 coaches and $18 in cash. Only one coach from each team needs to check in. You will receive two (2) new softballs per team to use at check-in on Saturday.

PLAYING SHOES: NO spiked shoes on any turf field. Turf field shoes are allowed at Bill Burke.

NO SUNFLOWER SEEDS OR GUM IS ALLOWED AT BILL BURKE PARK.

WEATHER DELAY INFORMATION: Will be posted on the TournamentMVP.com tournament web page, at the top of the Pool & Brackets page, as well as on the Kansas Fastpitch Softball Facebook page.

T-SHIRTS FOR SALE: T-Shirts will be available for sale $20@shirt; Past tournament T-Shirts will be for sale also 2 for $20 (Cash or Venmo)

CONCESSION STANDS: SALINA BURKE PARK: Will have concessions all weekend.

GAME BALLS: Hit your own balls. You will receive two (2) new game balls at your coaches check-in. Red-stitch ASA/USA Stamped 11" or 12" Optic Yellow .47 COR/375 Ball (No USSSA Blue-stitch balls will be used)

INDIVIDUAL GATE FEE: Adults 18 and Older $6.00; Ages 5-17 $2.00 (Cash only)

Here's how the Money Ball Games will work: Minimum of 8 teams will need to play in each division for a payout (ie, 8 teams in 14B, 8 teams in 16C, etc.) 8U and 10U Open will need a minimum of 8 teams in each division for a payout. 1st place team in each division will receive a $500 gift card given to the head coach for team use. If there are not 8 teams in a division, the age division will combine B/C and become an Open, then an 8 team minimum for an Open division will be needed for a payout.

We reserve the right to update or change information, formats or divisions on this event at any time. Please be sure to check back for possible updated information prior to coming to this tournament. Venue changes or additions, if needed, will be announced 7 days or more prior to the tournament.

September 1, 2023 starts the new insurance and registration period for 2024. If you currently have no team insurance, go to RegisterUSASoftball.com to obtain new insurance and register your team for 2024 thru USA Softball.


EFFECTIVE 9/1/23 - A player's age as of August 31 determines the age in which the player is eligible to play the following year.


COACHES BACKGROUND CHECK & SAFESPORT: All teams for 2024 must have at least 2 coaches who have passed the USA background check (passing a USSSA background check does not qualify for or replace passing a USA background check) & have completed their SafeSport certification found on RegisterUSASoftball.com - NO EXCEPTIONS!

PLAYER ROSTERS: Coaches will need to have your player roster entered and completed on TournamentMVP.com no later than the Thursday evening before the start of the tournament. This is required for each tournament you enter. NO EXCEPTIONS!


ENTRY FEE PAYMENT POLICY: Credit or debit cards only. You will be paying the tournament entry fee thru PayPal. You do not have to have a PayPal account to pay. Teams will be dropped from the tournament, if the entry fee is not paid for by the tournament entry date deadline.


TOURNAMENT RULES: Can be viewed or downloaded by going to the "Tournament Documents" section.

TEAM TOURNAMENT DROP POLICY:  If a team drops before the registration deadline has passed, there will be a full refund. If a team  drops out after the tournament entry deadline as passed, for any reason, there will be no refund of entry fee monies, as schedules will be in play already. To qualify for a Team Drop refund or drop out of a tournament, go to your team home page on TournamentMVP.com and put in a drop request. No emails, texts or phone calls. NO EXCEPTIONS.

RAINOUT REFUND POLICY: If no games are played, a refund minus a $20.00 administration fee will be issued. 1 game played 50% refund; 2 or more games played, no refund.

This is a USA Fastpitch Softball sanctioned event. Proof of liability & accident insurance is REQUIRED PRIOR to playing in this event. We accept USA or USSSA insurance. Teams with USA Softball liability & accident insurance are AUTOMATICALLY A REGISTERED USA team. Teams with non-USA liability & accident insurance will be required to pay a one-time-for-the-season fee of $30 to become a USA registered team for 2024. This is valid thru 8/31/2024. You will be required to provide a PDF copy of your non-USA Softball liability & accident insurance policy, along with your $30 fee, no later than by the tournament entry deadline date.
